To this day, I honestly have no idea just what Iron Man is supposed to be saying in Marvel Super Heroes just before he fires the Proton Cannon. "Eat My Tomato" has always been the popular vote. :)

In previous story/RPG endeavors, Skeets has appeared to bail us out of more than one sticky situation, usually with giant tech guns ablazin'. Which is why he cries foul when I use the Proton Cannon.

Given the fact that I shouldn't HAVE such power at my disposal, Sprite Svenyip will suffer 'negative karma' from casually using it here. It's overloaded certain circuits in the Rock/Yip buster - but he won't discover that for quite some time.

It's one of those things we all do in real life. "Yeah, there might be a problem with this thing, but I don't have the time to deal with it right now so I'll pretend everything's fine and maybe it goes away." And then when said thing breaks down we STILL get pissed and don't blame ourselves, even though a little 'pre-emptive maintenance' could have saved us from a hefty repair bill.

Tech sucks. :P

And yes, I know randomly 'finding' the Infinity Gauntlet and using it to get home is about as lame a source of 'convenient plot device' as they come. But that's what happens when you're designing panels "on the fly" and don't want to go back and rewrite earlier ones. I know from prior history if I slow down and re-do old panels the whole project will lose momentum and fizzle out.
