I know I have several weaknesses as a writer (which includes when I'm writing actual stories, not the ever-changing stupid-to-serious-and-back stuff that you'll find in Sprite Life). One of the main ones is that I'm a little TOO fond of 'ominous foreshadowing' and considerably LESS fond of doing anything with said foreshadowing when the time is right.

By this point, even a pet rock would be aware that Deirdre's not all she appears to be, something that conveniently gets forgotten whenever the party goes on its next joyride.

I also make EVERY project of mine bigger than it should be. So far, the team has acquired three of the gems of the Infinity Gauntlet but hasn't made ANY ground towards engaging the actual threat of the series. If I'm not careful, I'll burn out on this project and switch gears at the halfway mark. I have a history of that.
