You might think this was inspired by the original TMNT Arcade Game recently being released on X-Box Live. However, since I've been playing that game for 15+ years now, it was inevitable that more of those sprites would find their way into Nineteen Eternal. Besides, with the original sprite "voice bubbles" for them, this stuff practically writes itself. The only question is how the heck they magically appear out of the "enemy spawning pipe" up there. But I suppose if they could fit into the Technodrome transport modules, they could squeeze through just about anything …
