You're not making a good case for yourself here, Santine.

Despite what my friends(sycophants) tell me, I don't consider myself a good artist. I wouldn't even call myself a middling one. At no point is this more evident that drawing Marie; she has never looked like she was supposed to. (One early reader thought she was a man. You can imagine my enthusiasm for that remark).
I think the lower panel of this page is the closest she's ever been to looking right, but even now, it's still a little off.
