Examiner Quintos, Admiral Dunning, Doctor O'Hara… and a younger Doctor O'Hara with Lt. Vanders and 4th Officer Halley and 2 servos from probe ship Firehawk on an alien planet.

Previously, on Starship Captain III: In Eagle's conference room… Admiral Dunning and Examiner Quintos, a powerful telepath, brought a xeno sample aboard that is interfering with Eagle's systems, although they don't fully realize this yet. Doctor O'Hara has been put in a trance so Quintos can probe her mind for information pertaining to the planet in Forbidden Space where the xeno material came from. In her dreamlike trance, O'Hara recalls the event where she and Lt. Vanders and 4th officer Halley plus two servos were surprise-teleported to the planet's surface. The servos have started behaving oddly….
