I sure hope nobody takes his last statement seriously.

There's been some debate lately about the three day deadline here at SA. With how many pages people like to produce, three days is hardly enough time.

My policy on it is this: the three day thing is really just for the people who aren't going to update at all. Three days, to me, is enough time to ask for an update, but also enough time to not seem like forever if someone misses their update. Really, if you need a week to finish your update when your turn comes up, I'll give it to you.

Now, part of this is that, when someone asks for an extension, they don't always know how many days their going to need, so I'll usually just leave the approximated dates on the dibs list as they are instead of giving them even more random estimates than they already are. Nothing is set in stone at SA, so don't be too surprised if it gets to your projected update day and someone before you has asked for an extension.
