Introducing Heather

Heather is… Heather. She's bubbly, manic at times, depressive at others, but always warm and wonderful. She was working as a barista at Racys when we all first met her, and she served as the magnet that brought our friend group together, and the glue that held us together in the eve of the Covid era. Or something. I'm a cartoonist, not a poet.

At the time that this encounter happened, Heather and I hadn't seen each other in weeks due to the lockdown, and we were really missing each other. Then we ran into each other by chance at Festival Foods on Birch St. in Eau Claire.
