EARLY SUMMER 2020: So yeah. Morty left his keys locked in my car, which was parked at Phoenix Park, a mile or two upriver. Then my car keys fell out of my pocket and sank into the bottom of the Chippewa River. So how on earth did we get out of that mess? Well, I tried to explain it to Therese the next day when we met at Beaver Creek Reserve to go on a Covid lockdown walk.
