Fireworks!

JULY 2020 (Eau Claire, WI): For the first Covid era fireworks show, my son had a socially distanced friend on speakerphone, while they watched the fireworks miles apart.

The show had been held in the Carson Park stadium, but now the fireworks are launched from a clearing in the heavily wooded Plank Street Hill. That's two blocks from my house. I now enjoy front row seats with friends and family every year.
