Okay, so I'm starting to get Heroes withdrawal symptoms. It was my favorite show, and now I'm doomed to wait and see if it gets to finish it's second season soonish, or wait longer, or be cancelled. Damn writers strike. In other news I've been playing one of the most timeless games made (no, it's not tetris). Deus Ex is a brilliant whirlwind ride of story, action and customization. There aren't many games that I truly feel free in. In other games you always seemed to be funnelled into doing one thing or the other, whereas Deus Ex lets you play the game however you like. You can play it as a stealth shooter, heavy action game, or attack everyone with a knife, and it is possible to do most things in the game without killing anyone. All the weapons can be upgraded with mods, which is why my assault rifle is now more accurate than my sniper rifle. Then you also get augmentations, which enhance your characters abilities. For each aug canister you get, you can choose from two augmentations, giving you even more customisability. Seriously, if you haven't played this game, go and buy it now. It probably only costs a fiver. Many modern action games should take pointers from this game. Read my other comic as well!
