Not particularly happy with this page, but it didn't turn out as badly as I expected either.

I'm happy to be returning to this story after 20 years, because the only well-developed characters at that time were Connie and, to some degree, Sean. These early chapters/sections required very little editing, but I've had to rewrite and fill out the characters of Grant and Becky quite a bit. I have gotten much better at getting into the heads of an ensemble cast (mostly thanks to Used Books).

I didn't have any antagonists at all in my early vision and prose. I brainstormed them just a couple days ago and have been shuffling around and adding things for the upcoming parts.
