This is probably a page and a half worth of text, but I couldn't think of visuals for two pages, so here's one. This isn't anywhere near where I grew up, but WV is almost as homogeneous as an alien planet in a sci-fi movie. It it the forested-hill planet. (Also, it contains an impressive network of rivers, in nearly every valley.) A picture of any part of WV will feel like home. So I enjoyed drawing this.

(I don't live in WV at the moment. I live in VA, which is not homogeneous. I've lived in a saltmarsh/beach, urban areas, and farmlands in VA. The western part of the state is more like the hills that raised me.)

Photo for scale:

It's just under 900 feet above the river. A lovely, scenic place. I've never been there on Bridge Day. It gets pretty crowded. Takes place in October when the WV fall foliage peaks. The New River is one of the oldest in the world at around 320 million years old.

Technically, this is page 25, so my little project is starting to fledge. :)
