I took advantage of my day off to fit another page in this week. (I still had some drawing energy left after draft and pencils for Used Books.) I felt I needed a chance to redeem myself, artwise. For this, I went in with only the vaguest plan and just started drawing, quickly, wherever the graphite decided to fall, and didn't second-guess myself. It makes for a raw, wild look, but you know what? I think it looks so much better than going in brain-first. This is really what I want for this project, a raw, unpolished feel. I can save my painstaking pixel-manipulation, week-long, 200-step process for Used Books.
