I tried a few different angles and scenes for this, showing expressions and everything, but this was the only drawing that felt right. I'm not sure why I like it, but the mood fits and the feeling fits. Expression can be in position, I suppose. And I wanted to present the scale of things even if it's not an accurate visual representation (showing the cage, but not the bars).

I keep surprising myself with the visuals I come up with for this. I never really know what to expect until pencil hits paper.
