I had a weird day. Had literally no sleep last night because of a bat chirping. This morning, I put on my uniform to save some time later, then took said bat to a wildlife rehabilitator because its mother never appeared to reclaim it. – Long story but basically, it ended up in my house somehow separated from its mom, and I had to get it out of a crack in my wall and not touch it because that's a bat no-no. Plus, it was a newborn, so I had to give it a hot water bottle and safe place to stay outside where its mom could get to it… (It was a weird but nostalgic experience. I used to assist unlucky/injured/stranded wildlife a lot as a kid.)
Leaving the wildlife center, I noticed my tires were completely bald and one was flat. Which explains why light drizzles have been sending my car into sliding spasms. So, basically, bat might have saved my life. I got four new tires, drove the hour commute to work for a half day, and got teased by my coworker for using annual leave to rescue a baby bat.
ANYWAY, I'm tired, wanted some drawing therapy, can't focus on Used Books. So here's vet clinic and Becky.
