There were probably a dozen better, more on-point things I could have drawn for this page, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to practice drawing both a child and a horse. (Horses are strange animals with strange anatomies, and I've never been very good at drawing them.)

Sticking with my don't touch that eraser and no rough drafts approach. Unnerving but liberating.

Oh, and horses are terrifying. Like 1000 lb rabbits with cudgels for feet (er, technically *toes,* which is doesn't make it better – also, mammals with one toe per foot… that's some freaky anatomy if you really think about it).
