Moving slowly forward. I actually thought I had drawn this before. But then I remembered I drew an SD card for Used Books awhile ago. Life just blurs sometimes.
I'm in the process of preparing for some new creatures of my own. I have pre-ordered some yard dinos. (Not hatched yet, not even laid yet, tbh.) I never kept a bird before, but they are super interesting to me. My graduate adviser was a herpetologist and ornithologist. Fascinating clade, to be sure. When I was house-hunting, I looked for property where they'd be welcome. (Four of my neighbors have chickens, one has ducks. I'm in the heart of an urban area. It's a cool city, imo. A bit hipster.) I think they might make for interesting art references too.
I also have a litter of rats arriving in about a week. Beasts are my life. XD
