This comic could have run totally differently if I'd switched the focus in each frame. I love doing that. It's fun. But what I really like doing? Putting references to other comics in. Tir is talking about Misery from Broken Glass. (http://brokenglass.comicgenesis.com/) When reading this most excellent web comic, I noticed that Misery's collar was very similar to Tir's. Now, we don't know anything about Tir before she came to the Institute, except that she got her ears surgically pointed and that she attended Catholic School. The original script called for her to mention where she met him, but I could not, for the life of me remember where Broken Glass took place. And I was on too much of a deadline to look it up. If I ever re-do it, I'll fix that.
