For those of you without Jewish freinds, a Latke is a deep freid food made out of shreaded potatoesand matso meal. I'm not sure what motso meal is, I assume it comes from a plant. Sometimes you add shreaded inions, bind it together with eggs, and fry that sucker in corn oil. It's eaten either with sour cream or applesauce, depedning on your prefrances, and is traditonaly eaten at Hanakah.
