I dreamt this page. Literally. I woke up and remembered that I have dreamt it. So I had to draw it. It has influences from Tim Burton („Edward“, curly lines) and twistedrabbits Bloodman. Beyond, it is somehow linked to my brother, for he often refers to himself as „der Engel“. And his actual profile image in StudiVZ (facebook rip-off) is that of Watchmen's Comedian, also known as Edward „Eddie“ Morgan Blake. I do not know what this dream meant to say to me. Dreams are weird.
The text reads as follows: P1: „The Angel“ P2: „Like so many people John Edward Black is something special. Like so many people he has the power to make this world a better place.“ P3: „But will he do it, too?“ P4: „John Blake was brilliant. A genius. But the world was too much for him to handle.“ P5: „Eddie Black saw him. Eddie seized the opportunity.“ P6: „He operated part of his brain into Blake's head and his beating heart into the corpse. And thus, John Edward Black was born.“
The one can. The other wants to. So, where are the limits if one can AND wants to? This would make such a fine morally loaded story.
