The Hero

Here's a page that I've brought back from the Crypt. I like this one. I kinda miss the generic tough guy with a gun and knife, but I didn't have the desire to redraw him. Looking back at the date on that previous version, this one is being uploaded almost two years later. I've been in this webcomic game for a long time now… I'm old balls compared to a good deal of other Duckers.

A couple quick links I need to throw out. Some goddamn Canuck and fifteen year-old will not stop commenting 'round these parts. I'm grateful.

The power of HTML should be used for good, never for evil. That kid is working some wonders with GIF and HTML. It's scary. Y'hear that, Mr. Blue Termitosis?

Went up to Flagstaff a couple days ago. NAU is a really chill place. U of A is bigger, more research-oriented, and full of business majors, while up north I only met chill art majors. There's a camraderie among art and music majors, because they all share the same passion: art. Since I've dedicated myself (so far) to an educational path focusing more on scholarly pursuits, philosophy, and a more general knowledge with the aim of ending up in law I can't get passionate about it. That's alright. I'm sure things will work out with a little more time. Besides, a mid-life crisis might be fun in twenty years or so.

Yesterday, my grandmother called my mess of a room at home "scrumptious." It was kinda special. And I wanted to add another short paragraph.

Well, that's all I've got for now. I'll try to come up with an animation next time. Something original and exciting. I'll try, and that's the only promise you get from me. But until that happens… Enjoy!
