Just a thought

Update: This animation isn't playing as fast as I set it. The web ALWAYS does this to me. Just imagine it as going faster. Please?

I don't know if this technically counts as an update, but I feel bad having been away for so long. But it seems that several of my favorites have been suffering from the same tardy affliction. So, I'm right up there with the rest of them.

After doing a bit of research on the topic of animation, (which I aced for my English class) I've come to find that not animating everything is almost like a sin. It's the easy way, and I don't want to be that guy. Ah, John K…. How many lives will you ruin before you stop your animating crusade? Check out his blog to see all the tons of stuff he has to say about the art of animating. The man's crazy genius.

So, if I'm not animating as much, it's just because of two reasons. A) I really want to animate the best that I can, which is difficult with nothing but Paint and a cheesy GIF animating program, and B) I don't think I'm funny anymore. I used to be good at these things, so with a new exposure to old friends this summer, we'll see if funny stuff comes back up. That's one problem addressed, but I'm not sure about the other one.

I also picked up World of Warcraft, that being a big step in the wrong direction. I'm on a few different servers, so if you want to man-jam sometime, lemmie know.

Buy KC's books. Do it for me. Hell, buy it and send it my way if you don't want one. I'm poor. But the man (kid…I'm three months his senior…the talented bastard) is probably my one webcomics hero. He's doing what I wish I could do. And for that I hate him. And love him. But give him some attention. And make sure you get the sketches. Lots and lots of sketches.
