4 more parts to come, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. (This will make up for the shortage from last week, too.)
So anyways, a deer jumped from the side of a house that was only about 10 or so feet from the road. I couldn't see the deer, and I'm wondering if he could see me. But he slammed straight into my passenger side fender bear the wheel, his face and antlers slammed off my windshield and then his entire body proceeded to roll down Courtney's entire side of the car. In fact, the car didn't even swerve or really even jostle much when he plowed into me. He hit HARD, but miraculously, the glass didn't break! It should have though for as rough as that was on it! So I pulled over and my first reaction was "What did I hit?!" then I thought about the fact that I had seen his face bouncing off my windshield and was like "Oh shit! Deer!!"
After making sure Courtney was alright, I got out and ran to her side to help her get out of the car. The door was fucked. The center was slammed inward and the top of the door wasn't touching the body anymore. There was about an inch gap in between. The door absolutely would NOT open, even with two of us working on it. Then I REALLY looked at the damage and just started screaming "FUCK" as loud as possible over and over again. Still no crying at this point though, more like the loudest scariest rage ever. I'm pretty sure that everyone within 10 miles heard me screaming. And somewhere in all of that I shouted "I'm going to go back and fucking kick that motherfucking deer's ass!!! GODDAMNIT!!!!!!" The dents ranged from rippling the body a bit, to the area in front of the back tire being about 6-8 inches deep.
So there's part one. I didn't want to draw the deer hitting though cause I already spent a night crying myself to sleep thinking about what his face looked like hitting…. aside from what else you'll get to hear about him in the next couple days…
