Have a succubus.
No, I'm not quitting, but I'm taking a break. Probably the month of August.

I started this comic August 1st, 2007. Since then I've posted a page a week, loosely, and I've always had a script prewritten.

Here's the issue I've faced the last few weeks: the script I have
written has painted me into a corner. Normally I can type a script and
when I get to drawing it I can more or less visualize a page. I've had
maybe once where I was unable to do so, and had to remove script to
continue.

And now, I'm flat out stuck. I can't see the page and I can't find a way to rewrite the script.

So: hiatus. During which my goal is to leave it alone entirely. Not try
to work on the script, or any of it, so I can try to pull out of my
mental doldrums. Hopefully after a month or so, I'll return to the page a
week format.

And I know it sucks when a comic you read stops updating. I follow a lot
of comics myself and I know how disappointing it is when they don't
update.

And I'm sorry, I am. I'll guilt about this, but I think this has to be done.

That being said, the gallery won't sit unattended. I plan on doing
random art and actually expect to see a stick figure comic start up in
the next day or two. A farker asked me if I'd done a romance graphic
novel in the style of Nuke for Dummies, and the idea stuck.

The goal of the stick figure comic, for me, will be fast updates and
mental exercise. Several pages a week (if not a page a day, training
schedule permitting) but no set script or end goal, and no predetermined
characters. Given the characters will be glorified stickies, expect a
lo-fi comic, but I hope to consistently have full backgrounds etc.

So, hiatus comic I guess. Given I have a test tomorrow, expect cover and
first page of that late Thursday or sometime Friday.
