@El Cid – I was going for "death from arterial bleeding", which would certainly be likely with a stab wound in that spot, but since you're the second person to make that comment I guess I should have gone with the trusty ol' chest wound. Live and learn. :P

Thanks to everyone else who's commented over here on DD over this storyline. I am badly behind on replying (and, uh, everything else – don't ask about my dishes) but I do read 'em, and I am grateful.
