Three things:

First, due to events beyond my control, this was the only comic I got done last week – the next two updates will be guest art and then things will return to normal. Believe me, I'm no happier than you about it… given that I was the one in the emergency room, probably less.

Second, in happier news, someone apparently nominated me for the Webcomic Planet Reader's Choice Awards in the "Best Written" category. This makes me smile. Voting's open, as it happens, so if you wanna make me smile more and are a member, feel free to go vote.

Third, yesterday was my birthday. This also makes me happy, especially since I could be upright and reasonably pain-free for the celebration (not a given earlier in the week) but is otherwise irrelevant. Carry on. :)
