And so the longest story arc I've ever written comes limping to a halt. Have I mentioned how bad I am at endings? And how much I hate them?

So now, I'm taking a little break. Largely to see if I can't stack up enough strips to prevent the limping progress that we've been seeing for the past couple of months. It will be the rest of this week and probably all of next; after that, barring major disasters (she says cautiously, looking back at her year so far), I'll start posting new comics again.

In the meantime, I'll be posting filler strips, so hey – if there's anything about the world or the characters or, well, anything, that you've been wanting to ask, now's the time to speak up. Otherwise you'll get a week or so of whatever bits of worldbuilding I feel like noodling at.

Right. Off to build a buffer. And hopefully this will be the last time I have to thank you all for your patience for a while.
