I couldn't type anything really educational sounding, so I went to Wikipedia and just used two fancy words on the brain.
I should have said it affects the brain's "insert fancy words here"
Which causes you to grow a giant mouth that shoot lasers.
Too late now, cause THIS IS SPARTA!….no wait….THIS IS POSTED!
