Nice Costume

Originally published October 31, 2004. Skull Girl's costume design was purposely done as sexist and uncomfortable-looking as possible to parody what I had seen in the world of comics. This was a gag that comes back from the original concept of Super Temps, where High Voltage converts a villain to a hero simply by offering to give her a new costume… which it turns out was the cause of her "evilness". She wasn't actually evil… but her costume was so uncomfortable that it made her cranky.

Molly is subconciously aware she's barely even a bad girl, never mind evil, and her costume is a way to compensate.
