Originally published March 27, 2005. I didn't get fired from Loblaws; I moved. Nor did I have any pent-up resentment until after I discovered that the idiot management at my store didn't bother sending my letter of resignation to head office and I was still getting mail-outs. It took months to finally get myself terminated and I was not impressed. I'm not sure who dropped the ball, but I had to make several calls before anyone picked it up.
