Too Early for Jenny to Tackle

Way back in high school, I used to play a Super Hero role-playing game with the school's other oddballs. One guy made a cyborg with wolverine-style claws. Not only did he think he should be able to tunnel with them, but that he should have been able to tunnel fast enough to dig underneath a force shield and surprise an opponent.

What's REALLY sad is that thinking like this still exists in mainstream comics. (And movies. I don't like the X-Men, and I don't like the X-Men movies, but even I was insulted by what they did with X-Men 3.)
