Christmas Special '08 Part One

These strips can be considered quasi-canon; the events COULD occur during the holidays. However, things like establishing Santa's outfit (I tried to colour it as if he was dressed in natural furs) and predicting future events in present are a bit tricky to do since I only do these things in December.

Mr. Evil is the one doing the narration, BTW. I just couldn't fit him in the panel; he's too huge and would block the entire view. And I didn't want to use a side profile, as Molly's adorable excited face would lose too much detail. Speaking of which, I love her holiday costume. She's obviously not on duty (no whitewash). (I think this makes the first strip where she appears both in and out of 'on duty' costume in the same strip)

Yes, Santa really exists in Super Temps, and one of the few Supers who doesn't need a union membership. In my style of writing, the side effect of immortality is an almost totally ineffective short-term memory to prevent insanity. (And is why he never tires of his job). You can consider the attributed miracles of St. Nicholas to have actually happened in Super Temps.

Oh, and the only character I hate more than Wolverine? Lobo. A crappy parody of Wolverine. As to Robot Santa – he was only funny ONCE.
