For those of you wondering about the "reporter chick", this is a reference to the typical nosey reporter character who gets the scoop on the bad guys, and acts as friend and informant to the heroes. The gag in ST is that in the old days, some companies made sure the hero WAS the reporter in order to get the stories to the news outlets (Spider-Man, Superman).
