MONSTERPLEX WON!!

For those of you wondering "WTF?", Zuda (www.zuda.com) has been running a contest since January – a number of people would submit a short teaser for a new comic book concept. The winner would get a contract to make it a reality.

After reading enough of Brock Heasley of "Super Fogeys" (http://www.th3rdworld.com/web-comic/The-SuperFogeys) social media feeds (Twitter, Facebook) about his contribution (he writes Monsterplex) I decided to lend a hand.

I didn't get passionate about it until I saw what was in the lead – a comic that included a white island girl "primitive". There are certain things you shouldn't do around me. That's one of them.

I'm pleased as punch to say MONSTERPLEX WON after a very intense, very tight race. The fact that something actually GOOD won gives me new hope.

Congratulations, Monsterplex Team!! Do us proud!
