Is she mugging for the camera? No – she occasionally talks to her readers (that's how I started the strip).

Was down all day yesterday and home sick today resting up. But if you compare the posts, you might notice how I used the heads n' body. I was already feeling sick when I planned out this strip so wanted it to be quick and easy… and the fact that it's still late tells you how bad I felt.

The experiments, in case you're wondering?

1. I wanted to check out if re-using artwork is easier. The answer? Eh, not really… considering it's easier to rough out strips by hand, mucking about with cut n' paste was slower.

2. Wanted to give airbrushed shading a try and compare for speed/looks

I'm trying to figure out how to produce pages faster without sacrificing noticeable quality. (It'd mean more updates). So this one didn't go so well. Always next time!

Speaking of experiments, I wanted to run one on WoW (unrelated to comics). If any of you Duckers play WoW and are interested, drop me a PQ. Nothing happening just yet but if I had some people to start with…
