"Cursive" is the first actual Super Temp we've met, other than Molly's brief stint as a thug for Armageddon. She used to be known as "Deathtaker" back in the 90's (when everyone had to have 'death' or 'blood' or some other stupid name). She got sick of being a "90's hero" pretty fast and retired the persona, creating hero and villain temp personas instead.

Voltage is actually in his early 70's. Supers who produce energy tend to age slower and heal faster, but Voltage can actually partially transform himself into energy, which means he ages super-slow and actually has a healing factor.

The Cursive persona only has one power – the ability to completely absorb the energy attacks of others supers. She doesn't have any attack powers though, so she does stuff like sneak up and use blood chokes. It also means she's useless against supers who don't use blaster abilities… but that's why she's a temp. (The actual super has a secondary set she uses for her hero persona)
