So I had a huge beef going on with Deviantart.com and Stormartists.net…this piece was part of the drama. DA and SA were censoring people's shit and folks were getting mad yo! There's an irony to artists banning or censoring other artists work don't you agree?
It's just bullshit at the end of the day…no matter what angle you look at it from. It's all "protect minors, protect minors, blah, blah, blah."
Listen…I'm all for children remaining in a child's world, for parents…PARENTS…sheilding their children from adult subject matter, but it's not my responsability to self-censor my shit so little Johnny doesn't see a big fat titty on a piece that has a mature tag on it.
So these "art" sites, not DrunkDuck, but DA and SA..go the cowards way and ban art to protect their asses instead of standing up and challenging the system.
I'm ranting..my bad.
Anyways, nuff respect to DrunkDuck for letting me do what the fuck I wanna do. I love you DD! Shame a comics site has more balls then a snuffy site like "deviant" art or "storm" artists…ooo..so rough and tough…STORM artists..you guys are bitches.
After I drew this piece..I think it was the last one I ever got on their and then I was banned for life from both places, the DA and SA mods hit my site at newyakcity.com and tried fucking with me using racism and cruelty to try to pull strings but left after they got bored. They even did a drawing of this piece where they imposed a bib and one of those baby hats on 'Nita's head and had her crying and whining and changed the dialogue. It was cute so I posted it on my tribute's page.
Ahh..those were the days.
Maybe Darrell still has a copy of that joint?
