The name of his Meteor Hammer is actually a joke. And it's probably only funny to me. You see, Muhoushuu-Nihongo-Namae is Japanese for "Gratuitous Japanese Name". I always thought that Americans giving things/people in their comics/games/stories/anything random Japanese names for no discernible reason was irritating. The only reason I do it here is because the setting is ostensibly Asian, and the whole comic is a "statement" against anything standard or mainstream- the whole "antihero" genre, the rise in popularity of samurai manga, characters with foul mouths and bad habits, loads of people in trench coats, random Japanese being tossed around (sou desu ne?), and so on.
But yeah, Muhoushuu-Nihongo-Namae [Gratuitous Japanese Name] is shortened to Muhounin, meaning "Outrageous Duty". Don't ask what it means! I haven't a clue.
