This scene suggested itself because of various posters on forums going on about writers having commanders announce "Fire" for archers. The "Fire" command came about with matchlock muskets. It literally meant apply fire to the gunpowder in the port that would set off the powder in the barrel and fire the projectile.

It has nothing to do with bows. The order for crossbows might have been "Shoot" as opposed to loose, because you did pull a trigger as opposed to letting loose of the bow string. This would survive in the Royal Navy (and in tanks which were originally envisioned as landships so the creators used the terminology of the Navy.) Tank shells and arrows have a lot in common as they are both darts that kill by penetration.

El Cid suggested that I treat this as a comic with a very large buffer. There are over a hundred pages for me to go through and reedit. There will be time for me to sneak in some Belle's Best in the meantime. I just got some new wardrobe for the figures. Action figures are all about doing cool things so there is lots of cool adventure gear for them. So finding "everyday" clothing isn't easy. And it's often as expensive as the 1/1 scale stuff. Maybe time for some crowd funding.

Thanks for you continued support and please comments and don't forget the "like" button. Let's make this one the first comic of mine to break 20.
