The scene now shifts to Hengist and Ragnar. Hengist having been unconscious asks about the outcome of the battle.

These two were originally conceived as characters for Dungeons and Dragons. Someone in my group got to the level where he could attract an entourage so I created his younger brother Hengist Elfraper. He's that really cute guy who is kind of clueless and often does things the wrong way 'round but the girls flock to him. His nickname is based on an historical figure "nun-raper" Here he hasn't yet been tagged with the name if indeed he ever will.

Ragnar was created for a high level character campaign. He's a maxed out sword specialized fighter. His name was originally "Swordhand" but it changed to "Oneeye" after he slipped up badly in a fight due to over confidence and lost an eye. He shaves his head because he found that his helmet fits better that way. Ragnar is a tired old campaigner. He was very reluctant to come out for this fight as after a lifetime of going a viking he had finally settled down.
