This guy is a bit more circumspect. He is drinking wine after all. But then Arnora withdraws when somethimg snaps. She even spills the ale which in some cultures is a crime she'll have to pay for in the after-life.

And Searsha comes back into the story.

Notice Arnora wears the gold band around her arm. If she needs money, she'd cut a bit off of it. She wears it there rather than around her neck to avoid being strangled if someone were to snatch it.

This won't be the last time the camp followers appear in the story.
