Anyone reading may have noticed that the pages say "Book One, page–" There were five acts in the original script, which in subsequent rewrites became five books. It's not really a whole book, the whole script is less than 100 pages. The thing as currently written will probably be around 400 comic pages. There is a postscript written and a sequel already partially written. It may even be re-plotted to combine the elements into one quest.
So Glorianna is actually Princess Arianne of Nasnor. She has two younger siblings Thord and Illya. She's the smart one. But she had to follow her path and become a sorceress. She had the "talent" When she was disinherited, her brother Thord became the heir. When their father died a quorum of lords is necessary to elect a successor king. One has been summoned, but no one heeded the summons so Prince Thord "rules" as regent. His vassals won't heed his summons to court, they don't listen to him at all except Count Armen.
