So a few pages ago Falkimir was given a telescope. Seems someone else has taken the next step to create binoculars. More magic that no one understands except sorceresses? After all, Glorianna knew what a telescope was.

I wanted to do lots of typical commoner clothing to contrast with the armored soldiers or Norsemen. There's also another foreigner with the Brythian. You'll see later that he is wearing a kilt. Now whereas it was common for people to carry knives (to cut their food at the very least) at least two here have swords and the others have staves. Staves are easily turned into spears or javelins let alone being very deadly when wielded properly. Then there is one wearing a helmet and the leather armor.

This marks another guest star as one of the stragglers is a Robert Shaw figure.

(Colonel Hessler from Battle of the Bulge)

And he's no stranger to Medieval settings either.

(Henry VIII from Man for All Seasons)
