The groups start baiting each other. Ragnar One-eye is a well-known raider with a long history so even if it really wasn't Ragnar One-eye someone seeing a one eyed Norseman would immediately assume it was him. This refers back to Book one pages 20-22 where the camp follower recognizes Ragnar.

Searsha shows another magical talent; disguise. But she drops it to play with the other group. Shock and awe them. And it turns out that she's known too? Maybe the guy heard the name in a tavern and ever since he's expected to meet the "clawed sorceress". Sorceresses are rare enough but a one handed one with a claw? That might linger in people's minds, so even if no one quite knows who she is, they might talk of a "clawed sorceress".

Now is Searsha trying to start the fight, or might she be seeking to distract everyone and thereby stop a fight?
