D-Day, sixth of June. Well if I ever get that war comic off the ground I can discuss such things.
Now on to renew our acquaintance with Glorianna's siblings; Prince Thord and Princess Illya. Those of you familiar with Monty Python will recognize Prince Thord as Terry Jones playing Prince Herbert from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. All I had to do was cast that figure and he wrote his own dialogue.
You know I have since gotten a John Cleese as Lancelot figure which does open up some possibilities. ;)
Illya is the same head sculpt as Glorianna but painted differently and on a shorter and more petite body. Illya's age is about 16-17 to Thord's 20 and Glorianna 21? Thord looks considerably older than he is because he worries a lot and that bad skin condition.
One detail I have to point out; in panel four Thord hands off the letters to a lady-in-waiting. She will be introduced later. If you recall Thord's previous scene; he doesn't read too well, and Illya doesn't read at all.
The throne room was drawn in Photo shop. Pretty easy to create drapery and fold it and bend it around. I have a create your own coat of arms activity book that I used to make up the Nasnorlan coat of arms behind the curtain. https://www.amazon.com/Design-Your-Own-Coat-Arms/dp/048624993X
It is partially shrouded by the curtain because Thord has not been crowned king. His lords refuse to assemble a quorum sufficent enough to hold the election.
