This will probably the last story page for a while. I have a few filler pages I can put up to keep it going.
I can't do layout with one eye. Putting together balloons and text is becoming too tiring and I'm getting screen fatigue. Also my down time at work has vanished which leaves very little time to work on comics. With one eye, the time spent per page has about doubled.
It could take as long as six months for me to get full vision back so there may be a hiatus after the end of July if I can't put anything else together.
Last surgery it was my passive right eye that had the patch, this time it's my dominant left eye and it is getting harder and harder to compensate. The vision is still very blurred in the left eye. My vision with two eyes is akin to looking through a window on a very rainy day with all the blurs and waves as the rain drops distort the view. And no depth perception. I have trouble trying to grab a doorknob. I couldn't use the touch screen check-out at the library. I stood there waving my finger back and forth trying to press the screen. So hand-eye coordination is iffy at best.
So I really have to pull back from doing work on computer screens. Sorry, but there it is.
— Holy shit, 29 "likes " it keeps creeping up. It was 27 a week ago. New readers are coming in! — I'll figure out something to keep the pages coming. I have plenty of script. 😁
