Okay, big artist's comment this page. I'll make it a list in hopes of keeping your eyes from glazing over.

1. KI made it, briefly, into the Top 100 list on TWC a couple days ago. You know what that means- a minicomic! Specifically, a ten-page prologue. I'm almost through with inking it now- pages will be posted to DeviantART as they're colored, and then when all ten pages are done they'll be posted as their own chapter on SmackJeeves and the other sites I mirror the comic on.

2. Today's vote incentive is a snapshot of Kila and Richard that he took and sent to his mom. You missed him, didn't you? I know you did. He'll be back soon.

3. This little flashback is done now- Monday, we go back to present day. I have to tell you, I was nervous about doing an intentionally-confusing flashback so early in the story, I was afraid I'd lose you all… but in the end I decided it had to be done, for the good of the story. These five pages have delivered or hinted at a lot of vital information, even if none of it makes sense right now. It will later. (For example, Kila's weird little speech here. A lot of hot air, right? MAAAAYBE…)

Of course, if I don't get this stuff out now the story will be confusing at a point later on when it can't afford to confuse. And I got a lot of positive feedback on the last page- and voted into the top 100!- so, good news, the gamble seems to have paid off, bad news, you're encouraging me to try weird stuff more often. XD

4. If the conversation seems to have ended a bit abruptly- it did. He's purposefully changing the subject.

5. Oh, and I made an official Facebook page for the comic, and when it gets to 100 likes I'm giving away a free commission to a randomly chosen fan of the page.
