This is a comic that picks up from the end of Homeworld: Cataclysm, a sequal to the 1999 PC Gamer Magazine "Game of the Year", Homeworld. In Cataclysm, you would play as the Somtaaw, tryin to eradicate an alien subversion entity known as The Beast, sometimes The Devourer. In the final level the Somtaaw fleet destroyed the original Beast. The ending then follows up the idea that over a long period of time the Beast was eradicated. However, what if one Beast ship escaped, and arrived at the pre-hyperspace Earth?…

In other words, this is a Mega Man X/HWC crossover.
