I think I've done this a few times with my own family members. Turned them into NPC personalities that is. It's a fun GM trick, and it helps me respond to even the wildest questions from teh players without having to look at my notes.

This weekend is SpoCon 2010, and I will be there, running a couple games for friends. Come stop by and say hi if you are in the area! I have a Doctor Who game I am running on Sunday, and a Star Wars game on Saturday. They might even be giving me my own badge with the Tabletop Trials Logo!
