Very strangely I have a new page for you before my busy summer begings. Otherwise I would have time to do more pages, but I'm very little at home during summer, so… We'll only see if I find time to get a page properly done. I have the next one sketched out, but the painting part is what takes time.

I finished the mentioned gift painting yesterday. In a way I screwed it up, but there are somethings I'm proud of in it. However I won't be showing it to anyone, before I have actually given it to the person who's gift it is.

I screwed up with this page a bit as well, but the great thing about colors is that they hide most of the mistakes. Most of the paint that goes over the lines was completely intentional, but some of it was not. I tried out your suggestion here a bit, Mina-lunga. You other suggestion of doing the panels and erasing that which went over with computer, I'm not too eager to go with. I did it trough the first chapter and really I hated doing it. I rather so as much as I can with out computer.

I hope the red panels are clear enough to explain what is going on there. They are colored like this because it's a glimps to past. Also I have always wanted to try out how it would look like when I show the past by shading it with one color alone. The three panels were meaningfully done very simple. I didn't want to bring too mush detail into them.

Now answers to comments when I still have time. I'm going to celebrate my granmother's 70th birthday in couple of hours and I still have a lot to do.

Dracco and Ninja_jette: thank you for you fives!!! :D

Peipei: thank you for your fives and comment on the filler :D

Mina_lunga: Thank you for sommenting also the pages you had missed. It means a lot to me!
page 9: Now that you say it it really looks like the mose has fishnet stockings on o_O Have to think about that the next time. But I'm happy you like the moose anyway :)
page 10: Heh. I think Loaus more like hopes he could push Louhiatar around. And now when I have looked back at the page amd pretty happy at the body language in it myself. They stand a bit differently in each panel. I did it with out thinking, but I'm happy I could get so many different movements in the page. :)
filler: colors… It IS hard!! I have just done two pages and I already miss the easy black and white ^^' But at the same time I really want to stick with this coloring for a longer while because I really learn more of watercolors with every stroke I do. Also I feel more motivated to learn when I paint these comic pages than when I paint some random art. True, Loaus and Louhiatar did not interact in the pages like a couple. However there will be at least some glimpses about their relationship which hopefully will clear out what's going on between them. However… They have also been together for thousands of years or so… They have had more time to get to know each other than a human couple XP after all they are immortal ;) Yes, I agree. Beautiful woods. I wish to go there and I am going on midsummer.
page 11: Oh, I didn't know you use mamma and pappa in USA as well. I have heard many ways you call your parents there, but I hadn't yet heard that. Anyway, there still might someone be reading who doesn't know so I still feel that it was good that I explained myself. At least I won't need to do it later. Yes, with colors I were able to show the time of the year. One good reason to use colors :) And it is early autumn. That's why there is so much green. The story goes closer to winter all the time and I try to bring out the changes of the year into the pages. I'm gonna have so much fun drawing leaveless trees! *sarcasm* Well, something to learn yet again…. Above I already told what I think about your suggestions. Thank you for giving them. And I actually don't mind the colors going over the borders. It gives a bit of a different feeling to the page (and to me a bit of freedom with how I paint).

Please feel free to give suggestions and hints concerning the making of the pages. I wish to learn! :D And I'm not so afraid to try out things freely now when I have made it clear to myself that this comic is more for learning than anything else.

The girl here looks too old, by the way. I don't seem to get her look right when she has her eyes open ^^' But I hope I learn to get her right while working on this chapter. Oh and look! The ring things around her arms are what women used to wear here back in time. I have been doing a bit of recearch from time to time. I try to bring hints of that old culture like this to the story even thought I have taken a lot of freedom with the story.

But enjoy the colors and enjoy the summer!
